LightSpeed Point of Sale in Melbourne at Fashion Exposed and AusBike

Taking LightSpeed back on tour to Fashion Exposed and AusBike in Melbourne.  The Mac based point of sale system generated a lot of interest.  Customers that were looking to replace their current point of sale system, customers looking to open their first store and customers that were existing LightSpeed customers came along to the SMB stand to ask questions and have a demo.

Customers with large bike stores were impressed with LightSpeed's ability to handle service repair orders, track serial numbers and be able to import large numbers of products.  People liked the idea of having a mobile device to use to scan in products on the shop floor.

A number of people came up to the team with questions about their current LightSpeed set up.  Many felt that they could benefit from the advanced training that SMB Consultants had to offer.

SMB Consultants were also able to mention the other suite of software they have to offer.  People with cafes were interested the iPad Point of sale software ISISPOS, retailers and wholesalers could see the benefits of people management software Deputy.com and all customers were interested in cloud based account package Xero.

ISISPOS - Hospitality iPad Point of Sale Event at Apple Store Bondi

SMB Consultants were pleased to be apart of the Apple Store Bondi's 'Technology in Hospitality' event on Tuesday 19th July, introducing iPad Point of sale solution ISISPOS and people management software Deputy.com.  The event comprised of industry experts from the Merivale Group and renowned chef Alessandro Pavoni of Ormeggio at the Spit.  Other guest speakers included Further Ventures and Key Options.

ISISPOS is one of a very small number of iPad Point Of Sale systems currently available.  SMB Consultants were recently appointed the Australian distributors of ISISPOS, Paul Perri the executive vice president of ISISPOS notes SMB's "proven track record of delivering comprehensive business productivity solutions, including full implementation, training and support".

Greg Daniels, the store's Business Manager was the moderator for the event and led the discussion with SMB Consultants on ISISPOS and Deputy.com.

Alessandro Pavoni spoke about how Apple technology had aided his thriving restaurant business and was excited about the prospect of implementing ISISPOS and Deputy into his newest venture.  Alessandro described ISISPOS as "very sexy software".

ISIPOS certainly attracted a lot of attention with a number of attendees wanting to get their hands on an iPad and play with the software.  One familiar face in the crowd was Adam Liaw the winner of Masterchef 2010, Adam was one of the first people to have a go with the new software. He was particularly interested with the integration built from POS system ISISPOS to people management software Deputy.com.

The event was very well received, even three days of solid rain couldn't keep people away.  SMB Consultants look forward to taking the event around the country, coming soon to an Apple Store near you!
